请教最近申请过父母从中国来加探亲的朋友，现在申请签证（普通探亲，不是10年超级签证）时要不要准备他们在国内的房产和存款证明之类的材料来帮助申请成功？听朋友说他们以前申请时填过。多谢！

My parents didn't provide property ownership. They did provide bank statement as "proof of means of financial support",ie, to prove they have money for their trips to canada and living costs. they received notice to submit passports(original) only one day after online application submission.

谢谢！房产证原件还是复印件？他们开的documents list 上没提要这两样，北京使馆的电话老是中文英语重复说xxx请按1，xxx请按2.。。。，按多少遍都白按，一直重复那些话。
