Fiji Airways is showing flights from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia for between $535 and $595 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Nadi, Fiji.
It's not clear if these are a mistake fare or just Fiji Airways way of saying 'hello' to Vancouver (new route to Fiji), but they are available on nearly every booking site, and on the Fiji Airways website.
It does look like it's intentional, and the prices are related to their amazing introductory price on their non-stop flights from Vancouver to Nadi, Fiji (NAN) for $599 CAD roundtrip. (Shown right on their homepage)
You can also try a Multi-City flight, and spend time in both Fiji and Australia, for $655 CAD roundtrip.
You can also find non-stop flights from Vancouver to Nadi, Fiji (NAN) for between $599 and $740 CAD roundtrip.
And flights from Vancouver to other places in Australia such as Melbourne (MEL) or Brisbane (BNE) for a similar price.
And flights from Vancouver to places in New Zealand.
Basically, if it's on the Fiji Airways route map it's worth trying.
