  • THE WORST Raccoon Removal in Toronto/North York

Lightning avoidance! ! Catch the raccoon, clear the raccoon, don't look for him! !

    Name: Feng Sheng

Features: Bald, black and thin, Cantonese accent, drives a white pickup

    Mobile number: 416-566-3512

    License plate: 453 9RX

    Reason:

    - [ ] Unprofessional: There is no contract, the quality of the tools is not recognized, and the wire garbage that seals the roof is not collected on the roof

    - [ ] Dishonest: agreed to pay $650 first, and make up $350 after clearing the raccoon. Halfway through the job, want the $350, and if you don't give it, he stop to do it.

    - [ ] No sense of responsibility: Can use a cage to catch raccoons, pretend not to know, and have to use a one-way door. The guest said there was a raccoon noise, but he didn't believe it.

    - [ ] Want to make money: half of the work, the balance will be added, and the details of the added money should be written down

A month ago, there was a sound of scratching the wall in the master bedroom of the House at night, and I guessed that a raccoon entered the roof, so I went to 51 and found this person.

After contacting me, he verbally told me the price of a series of services such as catching raccoons, opening the roof, and installing protective equipment, which was about $1,000 in total. Then he asked me to hand over $650 in cash and give him the remaining $350 when the raccoon was completely cleaned up. Because I had no experience in finding a "professional" raccoon catcher for the first time, I directly gave him the money 650 dollars, no contract and no receipt... (In the future, everyone who finds a professional raccoon catcher remember to sign a contract!!)

The first time he came to the House, because he heard the baby raccoon's voice, he asked him to check the attic and roof, but he didn't want to climb in to see it, so he said he didn't see a raccoon, and left the only exit for the raccoon Babies grow up in a week.

After a week, the second time came to install a one-way door. He told me that the raccoon would come out on its own in two days and then couldn't get in. After two days of no movement, I told him to seal its mouth.

For the next week, the tenant will send a video of the sound every night to give me feedback, and every time I receive a video from the tenant, I will forward it to him. For the first two days, he would say that he was free to come and see, but then he killed him and said that there were no raccoons on the roof. It was the sound of mice.

A week later, there was finally no sound at night, so I hurriedly called him to check, and it turned out that the one-way door had been opened by the raccoon long ago. He didn't even admit that his one-way door quality was faulty. It was my fault that I didn't call him until a week later (the problem is that he said he didn't call him again for two days and nights, but there was a voice every day!!)

At this time, I asked him if he could put a trap or cage at the door (because it is not illegal to trap or trap a raccoon for a short time), but he asked me what those tools were, saying he didn't know the method, but said he One-way door can be replaced.

After the replacement, the sound of scratching on the wall continued for two or three days, so I didn't want to wait any longer and wanted to call him directly to clear the raccoon away (because it has been about a month since catching the raccoon), but I couldn't get rid of it for various reasons, saying If you want to add money, ask him to write down the items that will be added without writing. Finally, he is forced to take out the cage and put it at the entrance of the one-way door (it's very speechless!! Why did you go there when you have a cage? It took almost a month) and the raccoon was caught within two hours. It stands to reason that raccoons are generally family members, and if one is caught, a cage is usually placed to prevent raccoons from remaining in the attic. After he caught one, he said he wouldn't catch it, because he didn't pay him any more money, and then left the roof opening and ran away (after he said he had cleared all of them, he would give him 350 knives. I came to ask for money halfway through, and I’m convinced if I don’t give it, I don’t do it.)

I hope that everyone can find a reliable raccoon catcher in the future, and there must be a contract, so don't take my losses again!
