From the available data of 187 countries, we are able to analyze the correlations between COVID vaccination and cases/deaths.
In the following two charts,
- the X-axis is number of fully vaccinated people per hundred people.
- the Y-axis is number of COVID cases/deaths of the 2 weeks before 2021-10-15 per million people, respectively.
- each dot represents one country.
From the charts we are able to see:
- Many countries with very low vaccination also have very low cases/deaths.
- Many countries with high vaccination also have high cases/deaths.
- The cases/deaths in many high vaccination countries are higher, or much higher than many low and very low vaccination countries.
Conclusion:
Vaccination is not effective against COVID.
