  • Cup with walnuts

    The cup with walnuts is walnut, caramel and vanilla ice cream topped with a caramelized walnut sauce with honey and mascarpone.

    Elements

    Dessert For four individuals

    200 g of sugar
    1 l of water
    100 g of blended nuts
    2 tablespoons of honey
    2 tablespoons of mascarpone
    200 g of cream ice cream, eg. Les trois Noix
    200 g of caramel ice cream
    200 g of vanilla ice cream

    Preparation:
    approx. 25 minutes

    Caramelize the sugar in a pan till it turns amber. Add the water and let it simmer till the caramel has melted. Let it quiet down. Coarsely chop the walnuts and evenly toast them in a non-stick pan without including fats. Set some apart for garnish. Add the remainder of the walnuts to the caramel syrup, honey and mascarpone. Let the walnut sauce cool.
