UPDATE: FINANCE COMMITTEE/GO FUND ME:
Good afternoon. I wanted to update you on what we have accomplished so far today.
1. Go Fund Me - I received a notification stating that our withdrawals are being held pending review with a short list of things to correct this which simple entails updating the Go Fund Me description with the following information:
a) if I/we are related to the person(s) I/we are raising money for.
b) withdrawl plans to get the fund from our account to the
benficiaries and
c) How the funds will be spent.
I wanted to make you aware of this as you will see the description in the Go Fund Me will be changed to reflect this request. Once I have that step completed we will be good to go!
2. I met with the Accountant and two fantastic Book Keepers this afternoon. We will be holding a committee meeting this evening to formalize a small finance board of volunteers to make sure all funds are properly accounted for and dispersed. On their advice I contacted the bank and was able to get things set up properly from that end. This enables us to accept etransfers now as a lot of you have expressed concerns or hesitancy with the Go Fund Me. I have created a new email account linked to this account with autodeposit for this purpose. The email address is financeconvoy2022@protonmail.com.
Thank you all for stepping up and helping me with this! I have been able to form a very professional and efficient team <3

I just got this email and I have written an email to Go Fund Me organization: This is very urgent. Please share to any groups that you are in. Drama is trying to stop the trucker convoy. Unfortunately they used go fund me which is government controlled. They should have used etransfers to raise funds. As of last night they had raised $1,600,160 in donations, most of them via a go fund me account.
Action needed:
Drama is trying to stop the truck convoy. He is calling them terrorists and violent which they are not. This is our one shot to take our freedom back from the left. Please email legal@gofundme.com and tell them that this is not true. Share with everyone, we must support our truckers.
