US is so big and capitalism, right?
For my company's benefit, I paid monthly $220 monthly and company $250 monthly for $2500 deductible person.
If it is for family, monthly employee $400 and company $590.
But nobody even wants to mention that 90% of the payment is before tax, as well as there is a 1.45% Medical Tax withheld.
So if you are not a low income families, and you don't go to see doctor very often and need a lot of prescriptions, you don't need to worry much.
As I said, if you see a doctor in Chinatown, probably cheaper then in China.
I forgot to mention that this coverage includes medical, HSA, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, Optional Group Life, Basic Accidental Death, Optional Basic Accidental Death, Business Travel, Short Term Disability. Just like you will have from a Canadian Company.
