          Once ImageMagick is installed, Select Start->Programs->Command Prompt.
          In the Command Prompt window type

          convert logo: image.gif
          imdisplay image.gif

          If you have an X11 server, from the Command Prompt window type

          set DISPLAY=:0
          display
